    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
    + -
Do I need to take out my own insurance hire equipment?

We recommend you take out two forms of cover: hired in plant insurance plus public liability insurance.

    + -
Do you offer wet hire services i.e. supply drivers and plant operators with your trucks and machinery?

Our wet hire service is currently only available in South Australia. We have fully qualified and licensed drivers and operators for our tandems, trucks and trailers, semi-tippers, graders, loaders and excavators.

    + -
What identification do I need to show to hire equipment?

If you don’t have a 30-day business account, you’ll need to please provide:

    • a driver’s license showing your current residential address;
    • a contact telephone number; and
    • credit card details to pay the security deposit on your booking
    + -
Can you deliver equipment or do I need to arrange collection?

We can facilitate both. We can help you arrange delivery of your machinery to the site using our trusted team of suppliers. The cost to transport equipment depends on how big it is and where you need it delivered to.

Please speak with our friendly team for a cost estimate. Alternatively, you can arrange collection from one of our depots using your preferred transport provider.

    + -
Is my 30-day account limited to the state where I first arrange hire?

No. You can hire equipment from any one of our depots in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.

    + -
Do I need to clean and refuel the equipment before I return it to the depot?

Yes. We ask that all equipment be returned in the same condition it left our depot in. This means making sure the machinery is clean and re-fuelled with diesel. Cleaning and refuelling charges apply (where applicable) to equipment returned in poor condition.

    + -
Do you hire equipment out on weekends?

Yes. We’re open on Saturdays. If you only need to hire equipment for one day (e.g. Saturday), you’ll pay a daily fee instead of the full weekend rate provided the machinery isn’t used the following day. Our depots are closed on Sundays so please return equipment first thing Monday morning.

Please call us on 1800 424 424 and ask to speak with our Service team. We have in-house service technicians and a team of trusted suppliers we can call on to get our trucks and machinery working again.
